The TV talent show format …Got Talent has been around since 2005.
A South African version has been broadcast since 2009, and people in North Africa – through the Arabic version – have been watching it since 2011.
Now Francophone Africa is to get its version from tonight called l’Afrique a un Incroyable Talent with Beninois singer Angelique Kidjo heading up the jury.

The first broadcast on satellite and terrestrial channels across the Francophone subregion will be tonight at 20:30 GMT.
Apart from Kidjo, Ivorian actress Claudia Tagbo and Congolese star Fally Ipupa will be putting 200 acts – ranging from singers and stand-up comics to a dog trainer – through their paces.
The top prize is 10m CFA francs ($20,000).
