Stephen Curry scored 42 points as the Golden State Warriors romped towards the playoffs with a 139-115 thrashing of the Washington Wizards on Sunday.
Curry broke the 40-point barrier for the fourth time this season while Draymond Green added a triple-double to guide the Warriors to their 11th consecutive victory.
The Warriors are now only three more wins to be certain of clinching the best record in the league heading into the postseason.
Golden State now stand at 63-14, leading the San Antonio Spurs (59-17) by three-and-a-half games with five remaining.
The Wizards meanwhile fell to 46-31, one behind Toronto as they battle for third place in the Eastern Conference.
The Warriors were always in control on Sunday, building a 10-point lead at halftime before piling on 20 points in less than four minutes during the third period to make the game safe.
That helped the Dubs into a 90-70 lead which became 106-88 by the end of the quarter.
The Wizards rallied with a 13-4 run to cut the deficit to 110-101, but Golden State hit back with Curry and Klay Thompson to seal the victory.
Curry meanwhile was left satisfied after an accurate display which saw him make 15 of 22 shots and nine of 14 three-pointers.
Bradley Beal and Bojan Bogdanovic led the scoring for Washington with 20 points each.
