The Ghana Meteorological Agency has predicted more rains in the coming days, following Thursday’s heavy downpour which flooded major parts of the Greater Accra regional capital.
A statement issued by the Agency said “The coastal areas are also expected to experience intermittent light to moderate rain showers this morning and early parts of the afternoon. Later in the afternoon, the entire country is expected to be cloudy with isolated cases of thunderstorms occurring over places in the middle portions of the country.”
The Agency had earlier warned Ghanaians to avoid fast flowing water, move from lower ground to higher places if need be and call emergency lines- including 112 should the need arise.
