Renown Ghanaian actor, director, satirist, and talk show host Kwaku Sintim-Misa better known as “KSM, told a ‘rib-bursting’ joke about curfew during Ghana’s military rule era in a short teaser towards his recently staged show ‘Saga of the Returnee reloaded’ in Accra.
He narrated, “Long long ago before some of you were born … the sergeant major heard a gunshot 15 minutes ahead of curfew time. He rushed to the site and lo and behold, a man had been shot. [It was no joke as he thought,] so he queried the sergeant… sergeant it’s clearly not 7pm yet, so technically, curfew has not started, why gun this man down? … Sergeant major sir!, I know this man. He lives very far.. so there is no way, he can get home before 7pm Sir! That is why I shot him”
