Ace comedian and actor, Bob Santo, also known as John Evans Bosompi passed away in 2002 but his comic value has not waned almost 15 years after his death.
The late Bob Santo became a household name on account of his funny and witty performances in many live concert shows throughout the country.
He made his name in the popular “Key Soap Concert Party” programme on GTV, with his ‘Omintiminim’ drama troupe in the 1990’s.

He also starred in many Ghanaian movies and Ghanaian-Nigerian co-productions.
Some of his memorable movies include ‘Sika Sunsum’, ‘Double Sense’, ‘Hard times’ and ‘Banker-to-Banker’.
Away from the silver screen, he also recorded a lot of popular jingles for products on Ghanaian radio.
He was also regularly paired with his close pal and colleague Abusapanyin Judas on many shows and in movies (watch excerpts of an exchange of the duo in clips below).
