Ghanaian comedian DKB, known in real life as Derrick Kobina Bonney has urged Ghanaians to desist from criticising journalist Manasseh Azure over his “I wash my wife’s panties’ comments.
According to DKB, this is one of the most romantic things any man could do to show love to their partners; “it makes them feel special,” he said.
“I am not a fool to be walking around washing women panties but it is romantic to wash them because panties are very intimate items to women so I will wash it anytime there is a need to do so,” DKB said.
Jabbing the men criticising the comments from Azure, he said “most of the men saying they will never do it are those who wash women’s panties a lot, when the situation arises, they will wash, iron and they will be happy they did,” he stated.
DKB disclosed this to GhanaWeb following Manasseh Azure’s revelation about washing his wife’s underwear at the launch of his book, ‘Letters to My Future Wife’ Wednesday.
The statement was met with laughter from gathered patrons who appeared to be amazed by the ‘confession’.
Read Manasseh’s pant washing comment:
“I will wash your pants any day. You don’t need to fall sick. I will gladly wash your pants anytime there’s the need to do so. I will wash them any day of the month. That is my answer. And it is the truth you wanted to hear from me.
“Washing my partner’s clothes will not shrink the size of my manhood. It will not make me less intelligent. It doesn’t take anything away from me. So don’t be worried that if you fall ill in our marriage, I will pile up everything you have to do until you recover. I am a real man, Serwaa. Trust me! A man who cannot wash your pant is not worthy of taking that pant off you.”
