Telecommunication giants, Airtel in partnership with Roverman Productions has once again produced a stage play written by Uncle Ebo Whyte, entitled ‘Sankofa’ which was exclusively premiered on Wednesday, 24th August 2016 at the National Theatre in Accra.
Sankofa is a play about two distinguished Ghanaian professors who travel to Australia in pursuit of the greatest achievement in their careers.
The two on their arrival come into contact with a young man who had been tutored by one of the professors, and had been maltreated by this very professor.
A secret in relation to the maltreatment of this young man, which has the tendency of destroying their reputation, is about to be revealed.
In the midst of all this brouhaha, a long lost daughter, who was affected by this maltreatment, is about to confront her dad about this.
Join Uncle Ebo and his crew at the National Theater with this quater’s play filled with drama, laughter and music.
Sankofa is slated for August 27-28 and another on September 3 and 4. There will be two shows 4pm and 8pm.
