Minister of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts, Elizabeth Ofosu-Adjare has visited Kumawood actor Joseph Nana Osei Kofi aka Wayoosi after he was discharged from the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in Kumasi months ago.
The minister fulfilled her promise to see and spend time with the actor on Wednesday, September 28 when she visited Kumasi to tour the city. During her visit to the actor, the minister was accompanied by the Deputy Ashanti Regional Minister, Andy Osei Okrah and some industry players.
Hon Elizabeth Ofosu-Adjare we are told is in Kumasi as part of her regional tour. Aside from visiting actor Wayoosi to check on his current state, she used the opportunity also to look at sites for the creative arts center to prepare it for the commission and commencement of work.
Zionfelix.net is reliably informed that Mrs. Ofosu-Adjare “will visit other departments of the Creative Arts practitioners in the region to have first-hand information on how they are fairing.
She will also interact with creative arts practitioners especially film makers on various issues including MASCLOC loans for producers to produce more movies.”
Wayoosi’s heath condition became the talk of the town after he denied during a radio interview that President Mahama did not donate GHC5000 when he was on his sick bed.
The popularly actor few hours after reports of him saying the president did not give him GHC5000 retracted the statement in an interview with Zionfelix.net saying that he was not informed before his radio interview that President Mahama donated such an amount when he was sick.
