It was supposed to be a get-together for all nominees for the 7th edition of the Ghana Movie Awards, and many of the nominated actors were expected to turn up for the occasion but that was not the case- unfortunately.
As this portal, www.entertainmentgh.com noted, if the failure of the top stars to show up at the party is a foretaste of what will transpire at the main event, then the organizers need to re-strategize for the main event with regards to patronage.
Held at the premises of the main sponsors of the Awards, Zylofon Media Company – a lot of the top acts failed to show up for some unexplained reasons.
The likes of Yvonne Nelson, Jackie Appiah, Yvonne Okoro, Joselyn Dumas and many A-list actors were not seen at the occasion.
In a well put-together event, few actors in the names of Elikem, Jesse Williams, Kalybos, Too Sweet Annan, Moesha Budoung, Fred Amugi, Akorfa Asiedu, Christabel Ekeh, Henry Adofo and Director, Kofi Asamoah were present.
The CEO of the Ghana Movie Awards, Fred Nuamah, stayed for awhile and left before the show came to an end.
The management of the Zylofon Media Company was also present for the occasion and stayed the entire duration of the event.
The 7th edition of the awards is scheduled to come off at the Kempinksi Hotel, on December 4, 2016.
