Growing up as a young female writer, one of the people I deeply admired was Gifty Bingley.
From her days at TV3 to Tigo Ghana, I have learnt a lot from this beautiful confident Ghanaian woman.
Today, Berniceblog.com celebrates Gifty Bingley for sailing through and reaching the highest in her career as the head of Tigo Ghana’s Corporate Communications function as a woman.
Profile
Gifty joined Tigo from Vodafone Ghana where she managed the internal and external communication teams and a PR Agency.
Prior to that, she worked at the British High Commission in Accra managing public diplomacy on a wide range of policy issues, including developing several bilateral projects aimed at strengthening state institutions and improving living standards across Ghana.
She also spent a decade at TV3, where she rose through the ranks from Broadcast Journalist to Head of News and Deputy Editor-Assignments, developing and managing content for the various news bulletins.
Gifty Bingley holds double Masters Degrees in Political Communication from University of Leeds; and Development Management from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA).
She trained as a journalist at the Ghana Institute of Journalism, GIJ, and is an alumna and member of the Charted Institute of Public Relations, CIPR, UK.
She is happily married and has a handsome boy.
