Ghanaian rapper and hiplife artiste, Stay Jay, has won two separate awards in Holland for his contributions to Ghana’s music industry and the entire entertainment industry.
The awards include ‘Tema Citizens Of Holland Award’ and ‘Akwaaba Holland Award’.
The CEO of ASB Music label was presented with the awards at a ceremony held at Gaasperplas Park, Amsterdam.
The ‘Tema Citizens Of Holland Award’ was announced by Mr Alfred Kyei Mensah, Vice Chairman of Recogin and Chairman of Tema Citizens Club Holland, at the ceremony and presented to Stay Jay by the father of former Ghana Blackstars winger, Quincy Owusu Abeyie, Mr Collins Jamie.
Patrons of Tema Citizens Club Holland and other officials were also part of the presentation.
He also received the ‘Akwaaba Holland Award’ from Akwaaba Holland Ster Entertainment. The award was presented to him by Mr Han Blouw and other officials.
Delivering his acceptance speech, the ‘Sue’ hitmaker said, “I say a very big thank you to all the organisers, fans and my music lovers for the great honour. God bless you all much love and respect ASBMusic.”
Stay Jay received the two awards after a sterling performance at Club DNA in Amsterdam over the weekend.
Stay Jay is currently out with a brand new Afrobeats track titled ‘Gbohe’, featuring Luther.
