Rapper Omanhene Pozo who was on admission at the 37 Military Hospital in April is back to the health center for medical attention.
The musician who was admitted at the Neuro Surgical Ward of the hospital according to reports needed about GHC30,000 in April this year to undergo a brain surgery.
Barima Sidney, a close friend of the rapper has told MzGee in a recent interview that the “Wasei” hitmaker was discharged from the hospital after he had a successful surgery months back.
According to Sidney who talked to the Joy News presenter, Omanhene Pozo has been readmitted at the specialist hospital located in Accra for medical attention. He further asked Ghanaians to pray for him.
“To God be the glory he went through the surgery successfully and went home but just recently, he’s been readmitted at 37 again going through treatment. Lets just keep praying for him.” Sidney told MzGee.
Talking about his former group member’s sickness, the “Scent No” rapper disclosed, “his sickness has something to do with the brain”.
“It wasn’t a brain tumour and I can confirm that. He had a brain operation. It all happened in one day when he was there and went blackout.
It took them like 30 minutes for them to revive him. After he came back, he suddenly started feeling numbness on the right side.
We didn’t take it really serious then so we were taking him through herbal things until it got worst then he had to be admitted at the 37.”
Omanhene Pozo is best remembered for hit songs like “Kyenkyen Bi Adi Mawo”, “Wasei”, Medofo Adaada Me” and many others.
