Hiplife veteran Okyeame Kwame’s intimate +233 gig, geard toward raising funds for his Hepatitis B initiative was held yesterday 28th April 2017.
The fund raising concert dubbed OK Stripped brought together lovers of good music who enjoyed a night of dance, comedy, poetry and music.
Initial performances included a piece from the Rap Dacta, as well as spoken word offerings from Rhymesonny, Eugene Speaks, and Jibsam.
Okyeame Kwame took his fans through a delightful journey of great songs from Akyeame days through to his current OK moments.
Backed by the dependable Patch Bay Band, the night also saw performances from highlife gem Kwabena Kwabena, new kid Abochi, Adina, MzVee, Akwaboah among others.
Flowking Stone who was billed to perform on the night could not make it due to his wife’s ill health.
Active since 1999, Kwame Nsiah- Appau (as he’s privately known) is widely regarded a forerunner when it comes to music brands: possessing a perfect balance between mainstream acclaim and corporate appeal.
