Okraku-Mantey Lacks Common Sense – Shatta Wale

Dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale has taken a swipe at Slip Music boss, Mark Okraku-Mantey saying, he lacks common sense.

Shatta Wale in an interview with Vibez in 5 alleged that Okraku-Mantey years ago gave him two cedis for transportation after he (Shatta) worked on a song for George Jarah who was signed unto the record label.

This he believes shows that the music critic has no respect for persons nor himself.

“I did a featuring for him on the ‘Ashikele’ album. After the recording, he gave me two cedis. This was nine years ago. He said I should use it for transportation. He doesn’t respect himself at all. I deemed it disrespectful,” he said.

According to Shatta Wale, he accepted the amount although it was meagre because the Bible tells him to be content with what he gets.

“I’m jabbing him because I feel this time around he is being overly disrespectful. He is nobody. If he is disrespecting others, I have to talk. He has not studied music in any school. He doesn’t even speak good English. I attended Winneba School of Music. Even if he has schooled, he got ‘Fs’,” he said.

“Even if he is educated, he should have school sense. Okraku-Mantey doesn’t have common sense,” he added.

Shatta asserts that Okraku-Mantey’s arrogance cost all the artistes he ever managed.

His comments come on the back of Okraku-Mantey’s statement that he is not a dancehall artiste.
