Gospel diva, Obaapa Christy has denied media report that she needs a management team.
The musician who is currently in Germany preparing to start her European tour to raise funds for orphans in Ghana cleared the air on Accra FM’s Gospel 360 entertainment show when talking to Andy Favoured.
The “Hyebre Sesefa” singer said she has a management team who are working tirelessly to push her brand but not searching for people as it was reported. She added that she will outdoor them at the end of August.
“The management team already exists but its not like I now need people to form it. I didn’t mean I wanted management team. There was a little twist somewhere. We’ve decided that we will make the public know those who constitute the team.
I’ve a manager and all those who are to help the brand” she said.
Graphic showbiz reported last week that “The need for a proper management system for Ghanaian entertainers has been on the rise in recent times and it seems the ‘fever’ is catching some artistes who want to do things right.
One such artiste is gospel musician, Obaapa Christy who says she needs a good management team to handle her career.
According to the Moving Forward singer, she has not had a management team since she started her music career about 10 years ago and she thinks the time is ripe for her career to be handled professionally.”
