Adina Thembi Ndamse or simply Adina who swept two awards at the Vodafon Ghana Music Awards (VGMAs) says this acknowledgment couldn’t have come at a better time.
The Ghanaian-South African recording artiste, made this remark on GHOne’s Celebrity Fun Zone on Saturday.
“My VGMA awards couldn’t have come at a better time because I’m a more mature person now and I know exactly what kind of music I want to do, ” she said.
The winner of Best Female Vocalist and Record of the Year with hit song “Too Late” explained that though she has been in the industry since 2008, she feels she has found her grounds in the music industry and has learned a lot over the years.
“As a little girl, I was always mimicking a singer and my Dad had actually said I would be a singer and would be all over the world and its coming true. My mom who is also a singer taught me to do some harmonies; now it’s all coming together well and I’m so thankful to God for this,” she said.
Quizzed on what stuff she likes outside life as a musician, she revealed that she loved art in its entirety especially fashion, makeup, painting and cooking.
