It’s been five years since popular Ghanaian actor comedian and broadcaster, Koofori, lost his wife and he says the mere sight of their five year old daughter brings back the memory of his late heartthrob, Mary Nana Aba Enchill Karikari.
According to the actor, he cannot forget who the wife was and the kind of love they shared and the worse of it is that, their daughter looks exactly like her mother.
“My daughter looks like my late wife, especially her smile. That is one thing that no one can take away from her. You know when I was with the mother, she had a peculiar laughter she brings out anytime I crack a joke and interestingly, my daughter also has the same thing,” he said in an interview with Delay on the Delay Show.
Asked how he manages home, he said; “its not such a big deal for me. I didn’t live with my parents while growing up so house chores is not something I find difficult doing. I wash her things, bath her, feed her, change her diapers, everything.”
Koofori’s late wife was said to have collapsed while breastfeeding her two-week-old baby girl and died some few minutes later at the Sakumono Community hospital.
Mary and Koofori got married in December 2001.
