Kafui Danku has cut her critics down to size after they lambasted her for getting married to a relatively older man.
The actress who recently gave birth to an adorable baby girl Lorde Pitcher in an interview with Kwaku Sintim Misa rubbished criticisms from the public that she married an older man, insisting that it was a choice she made and she stands by it.
“In life, people don’t get all they wish for. There are people who wish to drive a car of their own, but may not even touch a steering wheel before they go to their graves …. I wished I had conceived and given birth years ago, but I thankfully got that recently; but that is just how life goes,” she said.
She admonished people to quit finding fault with people’s choices but rather support them when they need it most.
To drive the message home the talented actress added, “People say many things about my decision to settle down with my husband but what they forget is that I’m an adult and I made a choice to settle on him as my life partner. Other people make choices that I may not necessarily like, but its none of my business hence my choice shouldn’t be anyone’s business” she said on KSM show.
“People of same age marry a lot these days, but how many of those marriages stand? But I and my husband have been together for years and we are still waxing strong; that is all that matters,” she observed.
