Ghana’s premier afrobeats disc jockey, beats maker and music producer DJ Juls, (J Nico-Annan,) has finally released his first single Raise My Flag.
The versatile and much endeared producer who produced C-Real’s Opeimu and M.anifest’s More Vim had indicated on instagram and twitter over the last few weeks that he was going to release his first single.
It is undeniable that Dj Juls is a virtuoso producer, and his debut single did not disappoint upon its release either.
The single, which features Ko-jo Cue, Blackway, and E.L could not have been better engineered to showcase another dimension of Juls.
The single from the artiste who is signed to the BBnZ-Live label is currently receiving a lot of positive feedback on twitter and other web-based platforms..
The single will be available for free for a week, after which it will be made available for sale on iTunes.
The proceeds will all be given to a new charity foundation that DJ Juls is very passionate about.
The feel good track with its strong word play contains several references to Ghanaian pride and of nostalgic memories of growing up in Ghana.
“The life and times of siano character Agya Koo no go fit portray…
Tell Mahama I hold,
the flag high even when the Cedi drops
‘ cause I got love for my Ghana,
my Home…”
Play his song and raise that Ghanaian flag
