Controversial highlife musician Lucky Mensah says President John Mahama can only become a successful leader if he seeks some training from ‘grandfather’ Nana Akufo-Addo to enhance his knowledge.
Lucky Mensah cut ties with the NDC in September and pledged his support for the New Patriotic Party flagbearer Nana Akufo-Addo, citing the “unbearable” hardship in Ghana as reason. He went ahead to release a song Y?resesamu to endorse the candidature of Nana Akufo Addo ahead of the December election.
Speaking exclusively to 3news.com at the NPP 2016 manifesto launch at the Ghana International Trade Fair Centre in Accra, Lucky Mensah said President Mahama must take lessons from Nana Akufo-Addo if he wants to become a successful leader.
“My only advice to the young man, President Mahama as he’s known, is to go and seek some training and knowledge from the grandfather Nana Akufo-Addo so he can possibly make a comeback one day even though I doubt he will be accepted by Ghanaians”.
According to him, he doesn’t see Nana Akufo-Addo as an old man as people say but said even if he is a grandfather, as some people call him, he believes he is more intelligent than President Mahama.
“Even if they are saying he is a grandfather, I still see him as more intelligent than John Mahama who doesn’t know what he is doing.
“As you can tell, we are all struggling in this country because of that young man who is making lives difficult for every Ghanaian. “My message to all Ghanaians is to make no mistake and vote for change on December 7”.
