Ghana’s premiere and most exquisite fashion show, ‘Rhythms on da Runway’, came off Saturday living up to the much acclaimed hype prior to the event.
The annual fashion event which was held at the State Banquet Hall in Accra brought lovers and admirers of fashion together under one roof.
Still celebrating [email protected], International events host, fashion designer, broadcast journalist and Pan-Africanist Kofi Okyere Darko (KOD) and his clothing line NINETEEN57 in collaboration with the EIB GROUP organized the near 4-hour event.
The exhibition of clothing styles by the various designers were mixed up with musical performances by favourite Ghanaian artistes such as Wutah, M. Anifest, Akwaboah, Sarkodie and Bisa K’Dei.
Although present, king of the street Kwaw Kese was this time around part of the models parading in the outfit designed by KOD, much to the elation of the audience. Other celebrities who served as models for the night were Coded, P.Y Addo Boateng and Benny Blanco.
Patrons were however left disappointed as Highlife duo, Wutah did not perform as publicized.
