Ghanaians have been waiting and anticipating the 2016 presidential elections, which has finally taken place and a winner has emerged.
In the months and days leading to the election, a lot of things happened. There were prophecies and insults were thrown around.
Kumawood Stars were not left out of the drama. A number of them participated in the political campaigns and were pitching tent with their favourite candidates.
While some were in support of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) which had incumbent President John Dramani Mahama as its candidate, others were for the New Patriotic Party ( NPP) whose flag bearer is president-elect Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo. Some others were just sitting on the fence.
Some of these stars even took to social media to let their fans know who they will be voting for on the day of the elections.
Now the elections have finally held and a winner has emerged. The winner is Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
Many congratulatory messages have been coming in for Nana Akufo-Addo after he was announced the winner of the 2016 Presidential elections by the chairperson of the Electoral Commission (EC) and also Mahama for a free and fair election.
