Ahead of the December 7th general election, sensational Ghanaian Actor and Entrepreneur John Dumelo is scheduled to embark on a Peace Mission Tour to educate the people of the Somanya and Krobo-Odumasi on the need to ensure peace before, during and after election 2016.
The event put together by Senyo Global is purposely to launch the Peace Mission 2016 project of the African Centre for Peace Building (AFCOPB).
AFCOPB is an international NGO based in Ghana which seeks to building sustainable peace in Africa through conflict presentation and youth development.
As part of the project, the influential actor, Mr. Dumelo is expected to lead a team from AFCOPB and Senyo Global Movies to give some education to the voters or electorates in some selected communities in the Yilo and Maya Krobo Districts.
The education will mainly be subjected to how to ensure a peaceful and violent free election before, during and after the poll.
The team will be visiting some major churches, zongo communities and Lorry stations in Somanya and Odumase Krobo.
All these activities would take place in the early hours of Sunday, August 21.
It has become imperative for this peace mission tour Ghanaians need to understand the importance of peace in an election year.
Later in the evening of the same day, John Dumelo will comfortably grace the movie premieres of Senyo Global Productions’ maiden films – ‘Wonder Child’ and ‘Evil Inheritance’.
He is also expected to launch the maiden edition of Senyo Movie Awards, a scheme established by Korsi Senyo to honour, celebrate and inspire Africa movie makers, actor and actresses starting from the Krobo Land in Ghana.
Information reaching our desks reveals that, the Chiefs, Elders and people of the Kroboland are well prepared to receive and welcome the multiple awards winning actor.
Confirmed information also has it that, Mr. Dumelo would spend three days with the people. He is expected to arrive on August 20th.
