M.anifest in a latest radio interview has revealed if his #godMC record towards Sarkodie was trash, his career would have been over.
M. Dot who is currently promoting his ‘Nowhere Cool’ album talking about his recent beef with Sarkodie said;
“I said so much about that matter, it’s getting tiring.” He told Starr FM.
“Let’s look at this way, everything that has gotten me the attention is based on the music and not the gimmicks. You are talking about a song which talks about my differences or something and I don’t know, if that song [ #godMC ] was trash, maybe my career would have been over. But my career did not end so for me I aspire to make good music, no gimmick and not plotting this big scheme of things.”
“People enjoy this rivalry and the media, social media and the fans enjoy these things. It’s natural but everyday people are trying some gimmicks to get your attention but if it’s sincere and musical and what people do know me for is music and lyrics and if you hear things based on music and lyrics, that’s when the conversation takes off. I was in my corner somewhere finishing my album.”
