“Go higher” hit maker and award-winning BET artiste; Stonebwoy says he will not bow to pressure from critics to disclose the amount of money Coke Africa paid him.
His response has silenced all critics who were demanding that he disclose the amount paid to him after Shatta Wale on radio told the world that he was paid $15,000.
Reacting to Shatta Wale’s comment on AM Pluzz with Sammy Flex, this is what he said:
“He can only disclose figures for himself but not for others since contractually, he doesn’t know what goes on in other people’s camp.
I don’t think it’s professional that much for people to talk their business publicly. We all know Shatta, talk money, talk this and that about his brand. Which is good for him but I think it’s a low blow for him to talk about my business and contract”.
Asked if he felt offended with what Shatta Wale said, he answered negatively.
“Can I feel offended, no, … because it’s not a new thing. We all know how an artiste and probably how He (Shatta Wale) say something in a smart way to discredit other peoples and credit himself.”
He added “But am long gone, am done with all that gimmicks. So it’s all cool for me, am not offended.”
“I can’t mention figures, at least He (Shatta Wale) has mentioned his figure and might as well show you his contract agreement. But I will not do that”.
Shatta Wale in an interview expressed his displeasure with how the low amount of money paid to Ghanaian artistes in deals they get outside the country.
