Dee Aja of Onaapo fame has stated categorically that he is not going to change the lyrics of his controversial political song used by the NDC for NPP.
According to Dee Aja in an interview with B Ice on Agyenkwa Extra over the weekend, the song has now been a national song and there is no need to change the lyrics for the ruling government.
“Now Onaapo is a national song played everywhere in Ghana. Even though the song was for the NDC, it’s now clear that Onaapo is for Ghanaians so there’s no way I will change the lyrics for the NPP.”
Onaapo, a song made for the NDC during the heated hours of the 2016 political campaigns has now taken the centre stage and currently played on all the airwaves.
It was and still is the most played song during gatherings of the then opponents, NPP, as their music for celebrations. Onaapo is currently a household name in Ghana.
