Veteran Ghanaian gospel musician Rev. Dr. Esther Nyamekye has debunked claims that she ever described gospel musicians as womanizers.
The “Mema w’amo” hitmaker in an interview with Kofi Asante on A1 Radio disclosed that, although she stated some of the current crop of gospel musicians focus so much on the fame and money but not as a ministry but never said gospel musicians are womanizers which she believes her message have been misquoted.
She expressed deeply how bad she feels, describing as painful and provocative it will mean to her fellow gospel musicians who are whole heartedly pursuing the kingdom business with genuineness as a result of the false publication.
Touching on the challenges she has faced throughout her career as a gospel musician, the gifted musician lamented ‘’is not as easy as people see it because there are times the situation becomes unbearable but in all God has been supportive’’ she said.
