Radio and TV personality, Samuel Atuobi Baah has said he never liked the idea of replacing George Quaye with Mark Okraku and Nii Ayi Tagoe as Public Relation Officers for the VGMA board.
The radio personality who was commenting on a post made by social media influencer, Kelly Nii Lartey on whether the VGMA board néeds George Quaye.
He commented saying “Everyone has his or her competence. Where you are not strong you will surely fail with the best of resources. More evidence in our industry for people to learn from. The people chosen are good in other areas but not communication. I respect them abundantly but that decision, I never liked it till now. My humble opinion though. No harm intended!!!”.
George Quaye was taken off the VGMA board as its spokesperson after he made some unpleasant remarks that some Gospel Musicians bribed him to win awards at the VGMA in time past.
