Kwaku Sintim-Misa, veteran standup comedian has expressed fear of possible chaos as he like other Ghanaians anxiously await declaration of this year’s general elections.
The comedian popular for his ‘Afia Serebuo’ act tweeted, “I never thought I would ever say this but I am very worried about Ghana. I hope I am wrong but I smell chaos”.
The long wait for the election result has led to claims by the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) that it will reject any results that they suspect may have been manipulated by the Electoral Commission (EC) since its flag bearer has won at least 5,441,642 of votes cast to command an unassailable lead in the presidential race while the party has also won 170 seats.
The EC on the other hand, has come out to assure Ghanaians that it will not temper with results and that all should remain patient and wait for the final declaration of the general elections.
