Gospel musician Piesie Esther who made a major comeback into the music business last year after a long break released an album to announce her return.
The latest album, which has “Agye Won Sem” as one of the hit songs, was launched not long ago. During the album launch, a popular Ghanaian fetish priestess by name Nana Agradaa was spotted at the event. According to an eyewitness, the fetish priestess was sharing money at the gospel program.
Piesie Esther has given reasons to her decision of inviting Nana Agradaa to the album launch, which happened not long ago at Alisa Hotel in Accra. Explaining her action, the “Me Nti Ase” hitmaker disclosed that the popular priestess has been her friend for many years so she thought it wise to make a formal request for her to be at the album launch. She added that the invitation she gave her was not to attend the program to make wonders.
“I called her because she is a person I’ve known for a very long time but not as a fetish priestess. She has been buying from my boutique at Darkuman so she has been my costumer. Even before she became fetish priestess, she was also my church member at pastor Apae Life’s Great Light Worship Centre.
Even aside knowing her for years, people like her who were Christians but left the Kingdom are the ones God says He wants so I don’t see anything wrong with her coming to the album launch.” Piesie Esther told KMJ on Hitz FM.
Piesie Esther has been nominated for the 2017 VGMAs Gospel Artiste Of The Year, Best Female Vocalist Of The Year and Gospel Song of the Year with her song “Agye Won Sem”.
