Many music enthusiasts wouldn’t anticipate legendary Ghanaian highlife musician, Amakye Dede and hiplife/hip hop music dynamo, Guru to charge the same amount of money per local show.
However, from the recent research made by Reagan Mends of www.razzonline.com after contacting some event organisers and artists managers, Guru who was charging GHC 8,000 per show a year ago now together with legendary highlfe Musician, Amakye Dede charge GHC50,000.00 per show.
Guru, per every local show, charges a minimum of GHC50, 000.00 and 100.000.00 US dollars for international gigs.
Ever since he was involved in the fatal accident that took the life of his former manager, Amakye Dede barely holds shows these days but when he decides to mount a stage, he will also do it for nothing less than GHC50, 000 for local shows.
