Gospel songstress, Esther Nyamekye in an interview with Happy FM’s Ayekoo hosted by DJ Adviser has disclosed that the new crop of gospel musicians have reduced the soul-winning campaign into womanizing.
“We are now heading in a different direction.” She told Mercy B in a phone interview. “Because the mentality behind the music is different. And anything that is not in line with the word of God is not of God.
“It’s now things of the flesh. People want to be seen instead of promoting the gospel through the music, they are are promoting themselves for the money. The men are now womanizers and the women promiscuous. I call it the three G’s. Gold, Glory and Girls. That’s all the music is about these days.”
