Favourite actor, comedian cum musician Kwadwo Nkansah Lilwin has suggested that leaders of the nation should build statues of great players in the entertainment industry just to serve as remembrance and honour when they are no more.
According to the ‘I don’t think far’ originator in an interview with seancitygh.com, doing this gesture will let the coming generation to know that somebody did a great job and to build good image for themselves and the country.
“When you travel abroad, musicians and movie stars are honoured with their statues. Some are even serving as tourist sites. It makes people always remember them and their good works. You can even do that even when the person is alive just to let the individual know the essence of serving his nation. It will let the future generation know about past legends and also build good image for themselves and the nation.
He however jokingly said if the leaders are not ready to do for them he is ready to build one for himself.
