Outspoken actress Bibi Bright has labelled the Ghanaian movie industry as a dead business.
The staunch NPP supporter chatting with MzGee on Hitz FM opined that Ghanaians do not purchase movies in recent times so she travels to Nigeria to sell her movies and make money.
The actress cum producer continued to say that she will not be bothered if Ghanaians do not purchase her movies after the 2016 polls because it will not make any difference from what is happening now since movie sales have dwindled.
Bibi believes her actions in Ghana prior to the general election will not affect her career because the movie industry is already dead.
“What system are you talking about? The industry is already dead so what system I’m I going to get back to? I shoot my own movies. So if I shoot my movies and Ghana is not buying, I take them all the way to Nigeria to sell.
So if I’m to shoot my movies and Ghanaians or NDC people say they will not buy, it is not a problem because already they are not buying.
All the market is now in Nigeria so there is nothing that I do or say in Ghana that will affect me in anyway because there is no system for the movie industry. It is already dead.” Bibi Bright told MzGee on Showbiz This Week entertainment show.
