It was a night of laughter and music as patrons who thronged the Silverbird cinemas at the West Hills Mall were treated to great and hilarious jokes at the 2017 Comedy Night Show.
The over five hour non-stop comedy show which took place on Sunday, April 30 saw comedians Foster Romanus, Jacinta prove critics wrong over recent comments that Ghanaian comedians use vulgar words and repeat jokes. The seven comedians at the event displayed a high level of creativity making the audience ask for more of their jokes.
Being the headliner for 2017 Comedy Night show, Foster Romanus and Jacinta intrigued the audience with their wits and sense of humour which turned the whole place upside down a few seconds after mounting the stage.
Foster has proven himself as one of the topnotch comedians in Ghana and across Africa. When it comes to GH Comedy, Jacinta Ocansey aka Jacinta has proven beyond reasonable doubt that she is worthy of being called ‘The Queen of Comedy.
Although he was not billed to perform that night, talented comedian Daniel Selase popularly known as Khemical came to support his other colleagues.
The event which was hosted by Mc Pararan, a talented comedian also saw other promising comedians who with their performances made the event a success were Mc Brown, Tee Pay, Jesus Daniels, Comic Amy and Nesco.
