Former member of defunct music group Dobble, Ennwai has talked against the decision by 4syte TV station to charge Ghanaian musicians gargantuan cash but airs foreign music videos for free.
The angry singer on Wednesday afternoon in a series of Facebook posts expressed sharp disapproval of the station’s plan to take between Gh3000 and Gh5000 from Ghanaian musicians before playing their songs on their channel. He alleged that the station takes nothing before playing songs from foreign artistes but pays them huge amount when they fly them to Ghana for events.
According to him, 4syte after charging Ghanaian musicians demand barter trade when the station wants the services of these Ghanaian artistes at any of their events.
The musician wrote: “#Nkwasiasem is when 4syte TV charges Ghanaian musicans 3-5k to show their videos and play foreign videos for free. #SiasemBeNoNo. & later when they want these same Ghanaian musicians for their events they give them a butter trade contract and pay foreign musicians huge amount of money..Ghanaian musicians let’s be wise kakraa wai. Let’s nt allow these Ppl to call us #STUPID indirectly. I knw some musicians are afraid to talk but I speak my mind. 4Syte TV can decide to red list me. Enti mi shirt na ati mi singlet. #DoesiCare ? Tweaaaaaa. I Nana Yaw Ennwai will forever respect #FiestaTV”
