Ghanaian rapper Edem and producer Da Hammer have been spotted on the streets of Accra selling the recently popularized A1 Bread.
Sales have gone up for the A1 Bread bakery company, founded by Godfred Obeng Boateng; the famed University graduate who was scorned by Ghanaian actor, John Dumelo for selling bread on the street, since the incident happened.
A1 Bread took to their Facebook page to show their appreciation of the two; Edem and Da Hammer for helping promote their brand through their act.
Rapper Edem, after helping him sell some of his bread also took to Instagram to share his ‘bread hawking’ experience with the young C. E.O.
Da Hammer, on the other hand was witty. He captioned a few photos he took during the hawking with the message: “First batch vacation jobs… It’s going down”.
Edem and Hammer are not the only influencers helping the young C.E.O to make some good cash from his business.
I just ran into this bunch of guys selling A1 bread with their Boss and I decided to help them sell a couple…I am so proud of the new generation taking initiatives no matter how small..#Edem #Dedication #employyourself A post shared by iamEdem (@iamedemgh) on
A-Plus and other social media influencers have also supported him since he went viral on social media.
Actor John Dumelo used his social media platform to make fun of a university graduate for hawking after his university education.
John Dumelo on Instagram recently posted “Just saw a knust grad hawking in traffic.. what went wrong?”.
The actor was chided for mocking the graduate, which some believe was perhaps just to score political points and make the ruling New Patriotic Party(NPP) unpopular.
Several others expressed an anger and accused John of posting the photo with some negative intentions.
But the actor has since apologised to Godfred Obeng Boateng, the graduate he spotted selling bread in traffic.
