Wanluv da Kubolor thinks investing ones vote in Ghana two major political parties NPP and NDC is an absolute waste, hence his ‘stern warning’ to electorates to jilt them in his incredibly diverse freestyle rap which is featured on his first album “Green Card’.
The eccentric musician who recently released a single “Toto” showed off his rap skills and decided to share the lyrics on his social media pages.
The lyrics written in Pidgin English appears to be centered on the country’s political issues and how it is directly linked to the much talked about slavery; which in is estimation is still largely practiced.
Though his opening lines presented views that pushed for patronage of African culture, he later diverted attention to criticize the politics practiced in the country in his lyrical work.
A portion of his rap he posted on Instagram read, “Slavery no stop nah dem no leff yet ; H. I.P.C sake of I.M.F, G.B.C no power from E.C.G ; V.R.A no H2O for A.B.C, so don’t vote for N.P.P or N.D.C ; da leaders dey sell we give demma masters ; with da help of polytricks police and pastors; dey say I promise on ma honor to be faithful and loyal to Ghana ma motherland till I get dollez in robberband; ok! stop complain, time for action”
