In what seemed to be a torrid test of patience of eager patrons who had converged at the Independence Square to spend an invaluable period in the presence of their Creator, the adage “good things come to those who wait” will suffice to define their experience at the just ended Ghana Praise 2017.
Headlining the international gospel concert was Ghana’s oldest favourite international Christian artist, Don Moen, perhaps to match the celebration of the retirement age of the country.
The other acts who were billed for the praise night were Darlene Zschech and Lenny LeBlanc.
The rest of the international acts were Nigerian favourites Sinach and Nathaniel Bassey.
Don Moen together with Darlene and Lenny LeBlanc left the crowd nostalgic with songs from old favourite albums, reminding them of heavenly foretastes their music brought anytime they were played.
Although it was past the bedtimes of many who were present, as the following day was a working day, they would not exchange the moment for any other thing.
