Nigerian lawyer, actor and musician Folarin Falana, known in Showbiz as Falz ‘the bahd guy’, claims Davido’s swipe at Dele Momodu in his song ‘Bahd, Baddo, Baddest’ boosted its popularity.
Falz, who was in Ghana for a concert at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi, told JoyNews’ MzGee that he was not bothered about the controversial swipe at the business mogul and politician.
According to him, the line, ‘Dele na my boy’, in the song was used by Davido because he had his personal issue with Dele Momodu.
“He had his own personal grievances, he had his personal vendetta behind that particular lyric so I wouldn’t say I was bothered,” Falz opined.
He added that, “Davido has always been very vocal and very expressive with whatever he feels so that didn’t necessarily bother me.”
In the video below, Falz talks about his relationship with singer Simi, the seeming unity in the Nigerian entertainment industry and his role in the Jenifa’s Diary.
He also had his take on the Tee Billz-Tiwa and Tonto-Churchill marriage break down sagas.
