Coded, a member of hiplife music group 4×4, who was involved in an accident months ago appears to be fit as he joined the list of celebrities who modelled at this year’s ‘Rhythms On Da Runway’.
The artiste reportedly had a near-fatal accident at Adjiringanor, a suburb of Accra which temporarily confined him into a wheel chair.
Reports suggested he had his Kia Sportage saloon car rammed into by a Toyota Camry at about 10pm, leaving the front part of the car badly damaged.
“I just want to say thanks to God. I was on my way back out and he bumped into me but I was lucky I was wearing my seat belt and my airbags got out and slammed me very strong and the impact as very crazy. My neck, head, shoulders and chest was in a deep pain but God willing it’s getting better and now I’m recovering and I just feel pain when I put my feet on the ground but God willing I’m going to be okay and be on my feet again,” he told TV3 few days after the incident.
In a rather good development, Raphael Edem Avornyo, as known in real life, joined Kwaw Kese, Akumaa Mama Zimbi, James Gardener, Benny Blanco, Lexis Bill among others as celebrity models at ‘Rhythms On Da Runway’ 2017.
The event which came off on Saturday, April 1 at the Banquet Hall, State House, in Accra showcased different collections, fashion lines and a lot of side attractions, including music performances from M.anifest, Sarkodie and Bisa Kdei.
It was hosted by Nathaniel Attoh and Zimbabwean presenter Vimbai Mutinhiri.
