Veteran reggae artiste Ekow Micah and multiple award winning reggae artiste and radio presenter, Blakk Rasta took swipe at each other in the studio of Kasapa FM during an interview session explaining what ‘Kuchoko’ means in Reggae music.
In an interview on ‘Di Wu Lane Mu’ with Kwame Bee on Kasapa 102.5Fm, Ekow Micah who shares the view that, ‘Kuchoko’ is only a sound made by one instrument (Keyboard) hence should not be labelled as a music genre but Blakk Rasta commented that it is a new creation of African Reggae; it’s regular Jamaican Reggae music blended powerfully with indigenous African sounds and dances.
The legendary ‘Aba’ hitmaker insisted that, Blakk Rasta is only deceiving the public, thus there is nothing like “Kuchoko’ in reggae music.
The ‘beef’ between the two reggae artistes turned personal as they launched scathing attack on each other on live radio recounting their past incidents which have been in the public domain for years.
