The foundation is expected to replicate the fund-raising drive in all the Malls in Accra.
The Berla Mundi foundation on Saturday began the process to raise funds towards its charity event which is scheduled for the December 24, 2016.
The fundraising which was held at the West Hills Mall on the Kasoa road was aimed at getting a larger number of the public involved in revamping the Osu Juvenile correctional centre.
The event which is dubbed “Christmas with Berla Mundi; The Borstal Edition” is aimed at restoring hope in the lives of the many young people who live in the center.
The foundation seeks to amongst other things stock the facility with basic necessities as well as provide medical care to make life for the young people who live there worthwhile.
Events lined up for the day include an inspirational session with the young people and a medical screening exercise for the young people in the institution.
Award winning Radio and Television personality Berlinda Addardey popularly known as Berla Mundi who is the founder of the foundation has said the task ahead is a huge one hence the need for all well-meaning Ghanaians to be a part of it.

The event is supported by the West Hills Mall, Junction Mall, Vodafone Ghana, Ahaban Foundation(Green Leaf Foundation) with media partners Live FM, Ameyawdebrah.com and Cypressghana.com.
