Becca Reveals Plans To Celebrate 10 Years In Music

Sensational songstress Becca has given strong hints of plans to celebrate a decade-long career in the music industry.

Born Rebecca Akosua Acheampomaa Acheampong, the multiple award winning act would actually clock 10 years of her music journey on July 27, 2017.

“Next year, I’m 10 years in the industry,” she told Berlamundi during the premiere of the music video for her new track ‘B3shiwo’ on GH One TV’s #RythmzLive

“I’m planning a lot of things. First of all, I’m launching my EP early in the year – by the first, second month I’m launching it. People are looking forward to it. That’s the first one and we’re going to be touring Ghana, Europe and America and then we’ll come back home and do something for everybody.”

The big event for everybody? “We’re thinking sometime in August. I’m actually 10 years 27th July…” Becca revealed.

Becca was discovered by a trailblazing record label E K B records who signed her on and proceeded to work. She has been consistent throughout her journey so far which began with the release of “You lied to me” as she first single in August 2007. The track was the lead single of the award-winning debut album “Sugar” which was launched on the 13th of November the same year.
