Ghanaian Rapper Kwame Ametepe Tsikata popularly called ‘M.anifest’ says his popular ‘No Where Cool’ album was inspired by renowned by writer Prof. Ama Ata Aidoo.
Performing for the first time to Ama Ata Aidoo at the launch of Ama Ata Aidoo Centre for Creative Writing, he wowed the students and patrons gathered with how he plays with words.
Not only is he lyrically gifted but Hiphop artiste, M.anifest has a way of playing with rhythms to create beautiful music.
Speaking to Ghanaweb, he explained how the “Anowa” famed writer’s short story ‘No Where Cool’ has inspired him.
The “godMC” hitmaker’s fourteen track–album renered in English, Twi and Pidgen has on it thought-provoking messages of love, money, struggles and other life lessons fused with traditional African sounds and Hip-Hop rhythms.
