The National Organiser of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in Germany, Mr Kwaku Anane-Gyinde has assured Ghanaians that a vote for Nana Addo-Dankwa Akufo-Addo and the NPP in the December elections will bring an end to the gross incompetence and the unprecedented level of corruption that has plagued the country under President John Mahama.
Speaking at a fund-raising event organised by the Frankfurt Chapter of the Party over the week end, Mr Anane-Gyinde explained that the NPP under the leadership of Nana Akufo-Addo is the only party in Ghana with the right policies and programmes to salvage the country from its current economic crisis
According to him, the One District, One Factory policy, the strategy for job creation and the industrialisation programme announced by the NPP are concrete and realistic policies that can change the fortunes of Ghana adding “ only little and lazy minds that refuse to think would question the feasibility of these laudable policies”.
The national organiser noted that the up-coming election is not about the NPP or Akuffo-Addo but about the future direction of the country and prosperity of the ordinary Ghanaian whose standard of living has, sadly, been worsened by the incompetence, greed and open thievery of the Mahama-led government.
Mr Anane-Gyinde accused the NDC government of having learn nothing after seven years in office because they are repeating the same reckless practices and profligate spending that brought the country to the door steps of the IMF and said “it appears these people have learn nothing and have forgotten nothing”
He reminded Ghanaians that a vote for President Mahama will amount to an endorsement of corruption and incompetence as well as the extension of suffering, high utility tariffs, falling educational standards, a collapsing health service and increased youth unemployment.
For his part, the national chairman of NPP-Germany, Rev. Alex Acheampong noted that the current economic hardships and social crisis in Ghana makes it incumbent upon all Ghanaians to work towards a regime change in December.
He assured NPP supporters and sympathisers that the monies raised will be used for its intended purpose to ensure victory for Nana Akufo-Addo and the NPP come December 7.
