The president of the Ga-Adangbe Association of Toronto-Canada, Mrs. Christiana Nuamah, has congratulated hard working Ghanaians in the country.
According to her, Ghanaians are good people you find in various fields of profession manning lines of duty to live a responsible life.
Mrs. Christiana Nuamah, issued the statement of congratulation to members of the Ghanaian community in Greater Toronto Area [GTA] when she spoke exclusively to this reporter after a recently held picnic by the association.
“Our chiefs, leaders, brothers and sisters are part of the entire Canadian community who have been identified as hard working people and we must congratulate ourselves for that” she stated.
She gave a thumps up to members who in discharging their duties have been contributing immensely to keep the wheels of Canadian economy moving every day.
Mrs. Christiana Nuamah, advised the youth to explore the educational opportunities the host country Canada offers to their advantage whiles urging them to continue abiding by the rules of the country in order to enjoy the prevailing peace and development the country offers.
To the parents, Mrs. Nuamah, charged them to impart the knowledge of Ghanaian tradition and cultures especially speaking the local languages, eating traditional dishes and dressing in Ghanaian way onto the young ones.
The Ga-Dangbe president further congratulated the Ghanaian youth who graduated from various higher institutions of learning in the past academic year and encouraged the upcoming ones to emulate their senior’s example in acquiring knowledgeable skills.
The graduates were charged to consider applying the requisite skills and knowledge acquired to create the necessary jobs for themselves and others.
She further advised those yet to consider choosing a career to avail themselves to all opportunities available by consulting professional counselors to aid them in making good choices.
This year’s Ga-Dangbe picnic was organized to show appreciation to members of the association and in Ghanaian community who have contributed towards the sustaining and growth of the association and Ghanaian communities in Toronto, this reporter learnt.
Mrs. Christiana Nuamah appealed to all Ga-Adangbes in various foreign destinations to unite and form one international union to care for all and sundry.
Finally, Mrs. Christiana Nuamah, used the opportunity to invite all Ga’s and Dangbes in the world to attend this year’s Ga-Adangbe Homowo festival on August 20, 2016 at Luna Ball Room in Toronto to experience delightful tradition and culture of Ga-Adangbe’s.
