Volume traded on the Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE) hit 32,649 shares which were valued at GHS128,171.34 at the close of trade on September 22, a stock market analysis paper made available to the Ghana News Agency, said.

According to the paper, the bourse continued on its bearish trajectory as activities were registered in 13 equities with five price changes; in effect, the benchmark GSE Composite Index dropped 0.1 per cent to close at 1,773.5 points.
The GSE Financial Stock Index also fell by 0.2 per cent to close at 1,680.5 points. The gainers were CAL Bank which edged 1.3 per cent to close at GHS0.76 per share, whiles Fan Milk inched up 0.1 percent to close at GHS9.76 per share.
The laggards were Societe Generale which lost 6.4 per cent to close at GHS0.73 per share; Benso Oil Palm Plantation dipped by 1.2 per cent to close at GHS2.45 per share, whiles Standard Chartered Bank lost 0.1 percent to close GHS14.19 per share.
