Societe Generale Ghana yesterday March 23, 2017 launched the “Unlock Your Dream Loan 2017 Promotion”, which is expected to run from the time of the launch until 30th June, 2017.
The promotion which is aimed at providing customers with as much as GHS 120,000 loan product without security, has a repayment period up to 60 months (5 years) at an interest rate of 29% per annum.
Mr. Frederick Addy, Head of marketing analytics, said, the promotion is opened to both existing and new Societe Generale Ghana customers who are salaried workers.
“Salaried account holders who have accounts with other banks can enjoy the benefits of this promotion by opening with the bank, having one salary processed at Societe Generale Ghana and providing 6 months statement from their previous bank
“Existing customers who have loans with Societe Generale Ghana can enjoy top-ups to their existing loans without being required to bring financial statements from their employers provided the Bank has received recent financials from the employer in the last year”, He elaborated.
To encourage customers who may be reluctant to take loans, the head of Mass Market, Mr. Obed Hoyah said that with the promotion, customers enjoy more competitive interest rate and cheaper monthly repayments which will hardly make a dent in monthly salaries of customers.
“We want to take any fear or reservations customers may have about taking loans away by providing an easy, stress-free way of accessing loans.
“The application process is also very straightforward as we believe that this will help alleviate some of the usual anxieties customers feel when going through the process of applying for their much needed loans.” He added.
Mr. Obed Hoyah, speaking about opportunities available to SME’s, maintained that doors are opened to customers who work for themselves to access loans in any of the companies 42 branches.
