CEO of DreamOval, Derrydean Dadzie has said that Slydepay now has over 30,000 subscribers.
According to him, Slydepay, which started as iWallet, was a University project which was started by one of the co-founders of DreamOval in 2004.
Slydepay has come a long way in providing an online payment platform and ecosystem since it was introduced into the market.
“Right now we have a partnership with Stanbic Bank which is first of its kind in terms of FINTECH-Bank collaboration. We’re pushing slydepay hard into the market. We have over 30,000 people (subscribers) on the platform right now” the CEO said in an interview on Under40CEOs.
The platform was the first to provide integrated mobile money services in Ghana where mobile money subscribers could send money to any network with just a click. Slydepay also provides payment solutions to businesses.
